white six panel doors with wood trim? My home has hard wood floors with wood windows, so naturally the window and floor trim is wood. However, I went to Lowes and picked up 8 WHITE six panel doors to replace the older interior doors. My question is, can I use the matching wood trim (matching the rest of the house) around the WHITE doors, or will this be odd? And is I decide to go with white trim to match the door and jam, do I then need to pain all my windows white and replace all the rest of the trim in the house? Help, thanks!
Convert a six panel pine door to one with transparent panels...like French doors? I recently have my basement finished and had installed 6 panel pine doors. Due to the layout I have certain portions of the basement totally dark. Is there anyway to replace the panels to let more light through? Does anbody offer a conversion kit?
How many coats of paint do each side of a primed six panel door require? We are going to purchase 8 primed, six panel doors for our home. Someone will be spraying them white for us. Can we use just regular semi gloss paint or do we need to purchase a special kind of paint just for doors, and how many coats is it recommended be applied? Thanks so much in advance! The man doing it is painter for a living and is using the paint he uses for his jobs and the spray gun thing also, and they are interior doors.
How do I reverse the direction in which my door opens? It is a Metal frame with 82" high six panel door.? I have a 82" high and 27" wide six panel wood door installed on a metal frame with three hinges. The door opens into the room right now, but we want it to open to the outside. Can we take out the metal frame from the drywall and install it back again in reverse, or do we have to buy a new metal frame? Also, where do we buy these in Chicago ... Home Depot and Lowes don't carry metal frames. Thank you for your help.
Another question about painting my six panel closet doors.? I have already posted a question about painting my 6 panel closet doors with latex semi gloss Duration paint. I have followed a lot of the advice given in regards to my earlier question. It mostly looks fine now except for the raised part of the panels. First I apply the paint to the panel and then I go from the bottom to the top of the panel to tip it off with the brush. Since I have to stop at the top of the panel because it will go into another part of the door, it ends up looking funny - like less shiny. I would have the same problem if I went from top to bottom to tip it off. Is it because the paint is not even? What can I do about this problem? Thank you again.
I am having problems installing exteriors doors. I have one on my garage which is a six panel Commander...... 32" inch exterior door and the other a six-panel Mastercraft 36" inch door. The problem is that the bottoms of the door touch to close to the sill and won't shut. I have followed all the instructions online about shimming and installing screws through one of the screw holes on the hinges and nothing seems to work. I leveled the bottoms before putting the doors in and the surface was adequitely level. Does anyone have any suggestions what I could do before I have to hire someone to get them to shut? Thank you for great answers! What Handerande says makes a lot of sense and I will try his way after I get my porch together. It's nice weather here in North Dakota.
Need decorating help: What kind of interiors doors? I have a two-story ranch style house built in the 1980's with large windows across the front. I bought the house because I loved the simplicity and the open floor plan. However, the doors are all flat slab and hollow core: they need to go. Help me decide what style of door to go with. The trim in the house is all painted white. Traditional six panels would be too fussy. What's your suggestion? Here are a couple of photos to help you out. http://www.flickr.com/photos/green_willow/
Fitting mirrors on doors? I would like to fit mirrors on two 24 inch wardrobe doors. The doors are normal internal panel doors which give acces to a fitted wardrobe / cupboard and I intend to fit the doors on the outside leaving a two inch gap on the door face around the edges. My question is should I use plastic backed glass, acrylic or polycarbonate. I know the last two would be safer, lighter and easier to fit but not sure of the reflective qualities and scratch resistance. I plan to fit with adhesive or double sided tape and possibly fit a bead around the edge to finish it off and also to avoid paying for the edge to be ground if I go for glass. In the case of glass I would also have six holes for mirror screws due to the extra weight. Has anybody done this before? I would be grateful for any help or tips.
Why can't I locate a swinging door for my kitchen? Is it that all I need to do is buy special hinges? I moved into my grandparents' old bungalow, and the swinging door that led from the dining room to the kitchen that I remember from decades back is gone now. We had tenants in the place for a long time, and I guess they removed it, but it's nowhere to be found. I did an online search for 'swinging doors, but came up empty. I don't want a regular hinged door, a bifold door, or a cafe door. It needs to go all the way to the floor and be sturdy enough to keep my cat out when I need her to, but be easy to move from room to room while carrying dishes of food. Am I searching for the wrong thing? Am I just supposed to buy a regular six-panel door with no knob hold to fit, but hang it on special hinges?
Need help choosing paint colors for kitchen? We are moving and the wood kitchen cabinets in the new home are outdated. We can't afford to buy new cabinets or even reface, so painting will have to do for now. Here's my dilema: our appliances are almond (bisque I guess). We love white trim and want to purchase white six panel doors throughout the main level and paint the trim white. We don't want to add expensive new appliances to our already growing list of things to buy. What colors, if any, can we choose for the cabinet doors, cabinet trim and walls that will allow us to keep our bisque appliances AND have white trim?

What size are the door speakers for my 91 honda accord ex? I went to car toys today, asked them, they said "Six and a half". So, I proceeded to find the 6 1/2 speakers, bought them, came home, spent 20 minutes taking my door panel off, only to find the 6 1/2 were almost twice as big as what would fit. The magnet on the 6 1/2 were the size of the entire speaker already in it. So, what size do I need for the doors? Its a 2 door, 1991 Honda Accord EX.
Painted Trim but Natural Wood Doors? House I just bought had dark stained trim so I primed and painted it so its brighter, cleaner and fresher looking. I did a ivory semi gloss. Looks awesome. It had really gloomy ugly dark stained hollow core flush doors not worth saving I got rid of. I wanted to replace with solid pine the six panel type. I don't want to paint over the wood but instead stain a honey color or just poly it. How horrible would that be... Painted Trim and Casing but Natural Wood Doors? Too much work to take off all the old trim and replace with natural light wood. Have too much other things to work on. I have seen stairs and railings with natural stairs and painted risers and spindles so this concept is similar right?

Crown Vic Police car parts questions? 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I've been slowly making improvements to this car since I bought it six months ago. Now that I'm completely finished with the mechanical end, I'm moving on to cosmetic and body. I'd really like to find everything I need in one place. Is there a place I can items for Crown Vic Interceptors, like a manufacturer or something, or even a salvage yard that has a ton of ex-police vehicles? I want to replace the interior door panels on all four doors. (Rare on Ebay, and I really want all four doors.) I really want the "dummy" door panels used in the Police cars, but they're hard to find. Pllug the antenna holes and lightbar holes. (Couldnt find any rubber plugs at the autostores.) Get a new header panel and grill. I need some connections, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Should you have to prove you were acted upon illegaly to uphold civil liberties in the United States? Aides to Bush have asserted that the president retains the authority to conduct surveillance without court permission. Lawsuit Against Wiretaps Rejected Case's Plaintiffs Have No Standing, Appeals Court Rules By Amy Goldstein Washington Post Staff Writer Saturday, July 7, 2007; Page A01 A federal appeals court removed a serious legal challenge to the Bush administration's warrantless wiretapping program yesterday, overruling the only judge who held that a controversial surveillance effort by the National Security Agency was unconstitutional. Two members of a three-judge panel of the Cincinnati-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit ordered the dismissal of a major lawsuit that challenged the wiretapping, which President Bush authorized secretly to eavesdrop on communications involving potential terrorists shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. DiggGoogle del.icio.usYahoo! RedditFacebook The court did not rule on the spying program's legality. Instead, it declared that the American Civil Liberties Union and the others who brought the case -- including academics, lawyers and journalists -- did not have the standing to sue because they could not demonstrate that they had been direct targets of the clandestine surveillance. The decision vacates a ruling in the case made last August by a U.S. District Court judge in Detroit, who ruled that the administration's program to monitor private communications violated the Bill of Rights and a 1970s federal law. Yesterday's action in the 6th Circuit means that the principal remaining legal challenge to the NSA surveillance program is a group of cases pending before a U.S. District Court judge and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in California. The primary issue before that appeals court, differing somewhat from that in the Michigan case, is whether the administration may claim that a privilege covering state secrets precludes the litigation. The eavesdropping program -- first revealed by news accounts in late 2005 and the subject of intense political wrangling since then -- is one aspect of a broad assertion of presidential power by Bush in the past six years to justify policies meant to deter terrorism here and abroad. As first devised, the program allowed the NSA to intercept telephone calls and e-mail between the United States and overseas in which at least one party was suspected to be affiliated with al-Qaeda or related groups, without the court approval typically required for government wiretaps, administration officials said. The program prompted vehement objections from privacy advocates and many Democrats, who contended that it was illegal because it bypassed a secret court, created under the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), to provide judicial oversight of clandestine surveillance within the United States. In January, after Democrats gained control of Congress, the administration abruptly shifted its position. Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales announced that the surveillance program would be overseen by the FISA court. But administration officials have not described critical details of the new approach, including whether a separate warrant would be required for each instance of monitoring. Aides to Bush have asserted that the president retains the authority to conduct surveillance without court permission. With the change in the program, the administration argued before the 6th Circuit that the case is moot. The two judges who made up the majority, both Republican appointees, did not address that issue. Judge Alice M. Batchelder, who wrote the 35-page main opinion, focused her lengthy analysis on why she concluded that the plaintiffs -- many of whom have professional ties with people and organizations suspected of terrorism -- do not have the legal standing to bring the lawsuit. She said the plaintiffs could not show that they had been injured directly by the surveillance. Judge Ronald Lee Gilman, a Democratic appointee, disagreed. In a dissenting opinion, he concluded that the plaintiffs are entitled to sue because they felt a need to alter their communications after the program was disclosed. Gilman also wrote that the case is not moot because "the president maintains that he has the authority to 'opt out' of the FISA framework at any time." And he agreed with the lower-court judge that the program violates federal law. Administration officials lauded the 6th Circuit's decision. Deputy White House press secretary Tony Fratto called the lower court's finding that the program was unconstitutional "wrongly decided." Fratto said the appellate court "properly determined that the plaintiffs had failed to show their claims were entitled to review in federal court." Steven R. Shapiro, the ACLU's legal director, said: "As a result of today's decision, the Bush administration has been left free to violate the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which Congress adopted almost 30 years ago to prevent the executive branch from engaging in precisely this kind of unchecked surveillance." He said the ACLU is examining its options, including the possibility of an appeal to the Supreme Court. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) called the court decision "a disappointing one that was not made on the merits of the case, yet closes the courthouse door to resolving it." The panel has been conducting an investigation into the warrantless wiretapping program. Last month, it issued subpoenas to the administration, seeking documents related to the program's "authorization and legal justification." The two lawsuits pending before the 9th Circuit include Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation, Inc. v. Bush, in which the plaintiffs, an Oregon branch of a Saudi charity that has been investigated for alleged terrorist ties and others, contend that they have a document proving they were a direct target of NSA surveillance. The other case, Hepting v. AT&T Corp., has been brought on behalf of a group of AT&T customers who allege that the company intercepted their phone calls and e-mails and disclosed them to the NSA. The two cases are scheduled to be heard Aug. 15. Staff writer Ellen Nakashima contributed to this report.
This is long but is it Good. Teacher is being a b over it. So is this rubbish? Teacher has been really annoying over it and said she is going to write a letter to my parents because I never did it in time but my parents are on my side over it so yeah. Anyway is this so far good or rubbish . I know it's long guys but please read it and tell me what you think. My Autobiography Introduction In my life I have had up’s and I have had downs, but the one important thing to remember is that it doesn’t matter if you don’t succeed at first attempt because you can always try again until you get it right. I was born on the 4th of August; 1991.I was born around 10a.m in paisley hospital which is located in the North West of Scotland. My parent’s decided to grace me with the name Suzanne Amanda Shepherd. My mum chose both my first and middle name. She chose the name Suzanne because she really liked the hymn “sing hosanna” and she chose the name Amanda because it meant the gift of love. I was born with a major kidney problem which was a million to one chance I could have got it. I was only given four weeks to live. I went to York hill hospital which was a special children’s hospital for sick children, which had a really good renal ward. When we my parent’s got there, they found to their great surprise and relief that there was a six month old baby girl with the same condition I had. With that bit of information my parents had a little bit more hope, so to cut long Story sort I got a kidney Transplant at the age of four in March 1995. Unfortunately my body rejected the kidney and I got put back on the waiting list. Luckily I only had to wait four more months for a new kidney. So on the 13th (just goes to show that the number 13 isn’t always unlucky) of July, 1995 I got my new kidney. I don’t remember anything of it and I am very grateful for that. I will always be thankful to family of the donor for giving me a second chance. Memories I can remember a lot of things from my childhood but half the time I think these are just small fragment’s in my imagination playing out what I have been told as I have gotten older . I have a lot of important early memories that it would be hard to pick the first one, but one I feel is my first memory is, I remember playing with my little sister Rachel beside the tumble dryer when I was about three and she was about one, it was night time and we were in our pajamas. We were by ourselves and we thought at the time that it would be great fun if we played in the tumble dryer. I remember that my little sister went in first, and then I went in afterwards. After awhile I wanted out, my sister being so small didn’t know how to open it and I began to panic. I’m not sure what happened next, but my mum came rushing down to the door of the tumble dryer and pulled it open. I’m not sure if that memory is important but for some strange reason it has stuck with me till this very day. I think this is why I have chose it as “Important”. I remember being at a train station with my mum, dad, and my three sisters Yvonne, Elaine and Rachel, and also my big brother Alan. I wasn’t quite sure why I was there, but I remember the train ride, when I and my sister played with my Polly Pocket house in the train. The next memory is me being at my Aunt and uncle’s house in London, (At the time I did not care much for were the location was), I remember that the room I was in was very bright and sunny. I also remember that when I was leaving that my brothers and sisters stayed behind and I wondered why we were leaving them. My next memory is me getting Lego out of a shop. To be honest it’s all a bit hazy, but I remember meeting Rachel at a bench sometime later, (That’s what I thought it was at the time), it was actually not only a bench but a bench in Westminster Abby. I had no clue why I was there and would be a complete lair to say that any of these memories would make sense if I wasn’t told what they were by my family. I probably wouldn’t even count them as important. All at the same time I think that half of these memories’ have been drawn into my head as important, as well as the fact that they make sense. I know why I was at Westminster Abby now. I was there because my mum had entered me into a competition for Woman’s Own children of courage, (have no clue why but the crazy people on the panel who were judging the brave children picked me as brave even though I wasn’t) . I truly believe that the brave people were the family of the donor who give me my kidney. My first friend Friends, who needs them? Oh wait…I do I remember the first time me and Sara met. It only seemed like yesterday when we sat down at nursery school together. I remember that she was very nervous about meeting me. I said hello and asked if she wanted to play with me. I was messing about with some dominos at the time. She seemed more nervous than me, maybe it was because I was only five and didn’t really feel peer pressure yet or maybe the fact that she was the new one and not me? After a short while we began chatting to one and other about the things that little girls talk about, things like Barbie and all our other favorite toys. We got on really well and played together all time. At the end of primary one she moved away and I was sad that I had lost a good friend My first day at school As the car grew nearer to the school I grew more tense and nervous, I remember the building being so big and scary looking, I can’t remember much more and it’s all a bit hazy but the next thing I remember was meeting my teacher. My teacher had long black curly hair, brown eyes and a friendly smile. She introduced herself to me as Mrs. Foster. Mrs. Foster escorted me to a seat next to a girl who I had never met before. Her name was Rona and we were both shy to meet each other, we didn’t talk that often. I remember that Sara was sitting across from me and that made me feel slightly better. We were learning the letter C that day and to be honest the rest of my first day is hazy Rest of primary one I can’t remember a lot of primary one but there are some things I do remember. Like for example the books they use to make you read and funnily all the charters that you could name to any random person because you remember them so well. Of course this is only an example and I’m not going to tell you the names of the charters that were in the book. I remember being a shepherd in my nativity play even though I was going to be an angel but for some strange reason got turned into a shepherd, I liked being a shepherd though, so I didn’t, really care that I’d got turned into one. I remember that we had to walk to get our school dinner or if we needed to use the restroom, because the building for our school wasn’t that big and only had three class rooms, and one staff room until they started building an extension in the middle of the year. I remember that, because we had to play at the front of the school because they were building at the back of the school. The only other things I remember about primary one is my first sports day because I had cheated in the egg and spoon race by holding the egg up against my chain. I wasn’t really aware at the time that I was cheating but I was never the less cheating. I also remember that at the start of the year we had nine people in my year and that by the end of the year we only had five. This was because they had all moved away, including my friend Sara who I was sad to see go Primary two After Sara left I started hanging around with a girl called Hazel. Hazel was a year older than me and we got on really well. I also remember getting a new teacher haft way into the year because Mrs. Foster had left to look after her baby. The new teachers name was Mr. Burns. Mr. Burns was an ok teacher but I preferred Mrs. Foster. I can remember we only had him for haft a year. I remember that I missed my field trip because we went on holiday a week before school ended A trip of a life time I was only seven at the time and I was excited to be going to Disney land. I remember that my parents had hyped me and my sister up about it for ages. When we got to the airport I was very excited but I remember having to wait forever, well that’s what it felt like at the time. When it was time to go on the plane I was excited even more and was probably annoying to hear but then maybe again I wouldn’t have been the only one excited, since my older brothers and sisters were too. I slept most of the plane ride and when I woke up we were almost there I remember the heat the most as I came off the plane and walked down the bit before you come to immigration. It’s the most amazing feeling; you wouldn’t get what I meant unless you have been in the same situation. Then when you thought you had hit the jack pot you don’t really grasp the heat until you get outside for real. The air is different and the heat is way hotter than what your use to. It’s hard to explain but if you have been in the same situation you will get what I mean. Trust me it’s the best feeling in the world, well maybe apart from I guess a few other things but you know what I mean? When we got to our villa I was even more amazed because to me the villa was huge, with a nice inside balcony and it had a pool too! That was the best part for me and I remember rushing up the stairs to get my swimming suit with my sister. We were both so excited that I remember my mum shouting up to us to slow down. It just seemed like one huge big adventure to me. That adventure was going to get a whole lot bigger. On the first real day of the holiday we went to Disney world but we got lost on the way there. When we did get there the first thing you saw was the magical kingdom sign with Mickey and Minnie statue next to the sign. I felt excited to see the Mickey Mouse statue, I think everyone was. Then after you had parked you would get a tram ride to the ferry boat that took you to the main park. The ferry was amazing because you could clearly see the castle and the back ground music just made the magic happen, which was if you wish upon a star. When we got into the park I remember the place was packed with people. There were loads of charters to see too and when I was seven I thought that all these charters were the real Mc Coy. I remember getting a lot of their autographs and getting hugs off them. It’s still one of the best days in my life. I remember the parades during the day and night at Disney world being out of this world The parades during the day were cool because the prince and princess out of Cinderella would ask you to join them in the parade. I remember that being so cool when I was seven. I also remember that I had a fear of captain hook at that time. My family love to tell me about how I ran off when captain hook came on in the parade. It made me cringe for a long time but now when they remind me I just shrug and say ‘I was young’ . I remember the night parades being even more amazing and busier than the day ones. I remember all the lights carved into Mickey and all the other charters being spectacular and they were. Even the lights on there own were great. After the parade the castle would light up and then when you think it’s all over. The fire works go off and the castle lights up, with the Disney music playing in the background and you’re left with a really good feeling, a deep feeling in the pit of your stomach. When we got to universal I was excited but northing compeered to what I was when I went to Disney. I remember the world ball that said universal on it being big. Once we had entered the park the first ride we went on was the Flintstones and Jettisons ride were the seat would move. I went on jaws as well and me and my sister (Yvonne) were held against our will and forced to go on it again. I also went on E.T, Men in black and the back to the future ride. E.T when I was younger was the best ride that I had gone on. Even though I have been to Florida a total of five times the first time to me is the best ever for a load of reasons. One, I was only seven and everything was magical about it, like thinking that all the charters were real. Two, I thought that all the lights were cool. Number three, people are nice to you when you’re only seven and the most important reason is, because it was my first time there. Primary three In primary three I don’t really think there’s much to say about it apart from the fact we got a new teacher but apart from that primary three was basically the same as primary two and one. Primary four Primary four was different and harder from all the pervious years. To me it was my worst year in primary school. Why I hear you ask? Well for a few good and plain stupid reasons, and let’s just get it straight here it wasn’t a bad year, but my worst primary school one because I got rejected from the school choir at nine. What made it worst was that there were only sixty people in my whole school at the time. I mean the only good thing about It was that it that me know how to handle rejection well in the future. The other bad thing about that year was that I was always fighting with my teacher, Mrs. McKay over stupid things like drinking water. I’ll be honest here. When I Look back I was probably the one in the wrong but I wouldn’t go as far to say that she was always right. Looking back on it now Primary four was fun just not as fun as the others Primary five In primary five I got the same teacher as I had got in primary four and that basically primary five was the same as primary four. Primary six I was glad to be going into primary six. It made me feel important that I was in the top second class. I got a new teacher for that year. Her name was Mrs. Houston. She was very laid back compeered to my previous teacher Mrs. McKay. I remember that year as being one my best years at primary school because all the topics we did that year were fun. We did the sixty’s that year. Primary seven After primary six the teachers were moved around and Because of this move I got stuck with Mrs. McKay again. I remember that we had to look after the primary ones who had just came to the school that year. Mrs. McKay assigned most of the class to two primary ones but I was only assigned to one primary one to look after. I remember that I got assigned to a little girl with brown hair whose name I forget now. Anyway the little girl didn’t go too well as she preferred the Primary fours to hang out with. As primary sevens we kept getting reminded that we would soon be going to high school. I myself at the beginning of primary seven knew that I would not be attending the school that the rest of my class mates were going to attend. I was going to go to St Michaels Academy were all my older brothers and sisters had went. It had been planed for a long time that I would be going there but saying this my mum and dad never once forced it upon me that I must go and told me that I could attend Garnock if I wished so. I went on a couple of trips to Garnock Academy with the rest of my class. I found the school ok but my sister Yvonne who had attended Garnock academy for a year told me not to go and that it would be a bad ideal in the long term. I eventually decided that I would go with tradition and follow my brothers and sisters into St Michael’s. First time at ST Michaels Because I had chosen St Michaels I had to go to the two day introduction into high school by my self. I remember the night before I was very nervous as well as excited with anticipation, and kept asking annoying question, like how the dinner card worked. They would tell me how it worked, but I would be back two seconds later asking again just to make sure I had got it right. I looked forward to my first day of St Michaels, I mean of course I had been to St Michaels before, because of my brothers and sisters concerts and things, but this was the first time that I would be going as a pupil, well maybe not a pupil, but a temp pupil, I guess. I remember it being a bright, sunny and quite a warm day. The weather however did not help my nervous, I remember getting in the car with my dad and setting off for St Michaels getting more nervous the closer we got to the school. So when I had got there I was shaking and I remember loads of people in different colored uniforms. That made me feel more nervous since most people had someone from their school with them and I kind of felt alone. We were told to enter the assembly hall and take a seat by our school. I was quite unsure were to sit but a nice lady who was the first and second year’s pupil support teacher at the time told me to sit next to all the other pupils with out a school group with them. After we were all seated and settled we were told that our first year support teacher was going to be Mr. Johnston and that the lady teacher who had shown me to my seat was going to retire. After that we had to say the father’s prayer which made me feel tenser since I hadn’t a clue how it went and looked like an idiot trying to copy what everyone else was doing. I remember Mr. Johnston looking as confused as I was and that give me comfort to know I wasn’t the only one confused. After that we were told to go to our registration class so that we could get a grasp of what registration was like but unfortunately for me I went the wrong way and went to the wrong class. I felt so embarrassed, but I wasn’t the only person to get lost that day. I remember our first lesson being English. When I heard that I was getting Mr. Jenkins I was trilled because I had heard so much about him from my brother and sisters as being a nice teacher and telling bad jokes which to me seemed like a laugh. The first thing he asked us is if any of us were bad at spelling, a few of the class put their hand up including me. Then he asked us if any of us read. I think a dozen of us put our hand in the air. After that he told us that It didn’t have to be a book, that it could be a magazine or newspaper. The whole class had their hand in the air now and then he changed the subject back to reading books by telling us about this book cetirfectit thing. He told us that there were three stages bronze, silver and gold. To get any of these awards you had to read a certain amount of books. For example you had to read four books to get the bronze award but if you wanted to reach silver you would have to read other six or something like that. Then the subject turned into David Beckham’s Autobiography which then turned into football. The next subject that day was R.E, were all we did was introduce each other to one and other. My R.E teacher was called Mrs. Peline. She was friendly woman and she told us that she would be getting some of us for science. A boy in the class told her that he had been told that it was better to get her in R.E than it was to get her in science. She admitted yes and that the reason for that was is because in science she had to be on track wares as in R.E she never had to. I found it odd that an R.E teacher could be a science teacher but hey odder things have happened. The rest of the day and the second day was basically the same, the teachers just telling and preparing us for what was to come in high school. Last day of primary school It was a tradition at our school to bring a school polo shirt to school for everyone in the school to sign, even all the teachers and the people you didn’t like would sign. It was weird to bring my polo shirt in that day because I could remember signing all of the previous primary sevens shirts from all the other years. I remember putting my name across the collar and asking all the people in primary seven to sign my shirt in the one place. I remember what my Mrs. McKay wrote the most on my shirt for some strange reason. She wrote keep smiling. It makes me laugh when I think about it, like I would stop smiling. I mean high school is the happiest place on earth, isn’t it? I remember that we all got the big daily chocolate bars form one of the helper teachers; she did it to every primary seven class leaving to go to high school so that was a tradition too. School was fun that day and it was a good way to end it. I was invited to a party for all those who were leaving primary school and a couple of other people, because a party wouldn’t be a party with only five people. I remember that the first thing we did was play rounder’s, then after that we had lunch. Once that was over we played pentacles, they let me win, not that I would of cared if I had lost which I would have done if they had not let me take the goal further to the goal post than the rest of them. After that we had a water fight or to put it rightly hit Gavin’s dad with as much water as you can. After that the party came to a close with an other game of rounders St Michaels- first and second year I remembered the last time I was at St Michaels being good so I wasn’t that afraid of going this time. My mum at the time was very embarrassing about the whole thing, saying how grown up I was and all that. What parts do you think I should get rid of? there is 4 Microsoft word pages in 8 point text
Do you think this helps to prove the point Jehovas Witness are a cult? When you study with the Jehovah's Witness, you agree to attend five meetings a week where you are taught from Watchtower literature. You cannot be baptized until you have studied their material for at least six months and have answered numerous questions before a panel of elders. Men are not supposed have long hair or wear beards and women are to dress in modest apparel. They refuse to vote, salute the flag, sing the "Star Spangled Banner, celebrate birthdays or Christmas, won't take blood transfusions, and they can't join the armed forces. A schedule of door-to-door canvassing is required where you distribute the Watchtower literature, acquire donations, and forward all monies to the headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. If you ever leave the Jehovah's Witness organization, you are considered an apostate and are to be shunned. does anyone notice that the Jw are trying to say that all religons are cults and in effect there is no such thing as organised religon? The Jw are the only ones who can't accept they are a cult.
2003 Ford F-150 ext. cab short bed...? I have a 2003 Ford F-150 ext. cab short bed pick-up that I bought used. They dealer provided paperwork that stated it had never been wrecked. Here's the issue, as I stand at the rear of the truck lookind forward there is a mismatch between the door and the bed on the right side. The bed is shifted inward at least an inch to an inch and a half. But on the driver's side it isn't noticable. Is this condition typical with Fords? I've always owned Chevy pick-ups. And is the bed adjustable right to left in relationship to the frame? There are six large torx head bolts in the bottom bed panel, can those be loosened and the bed position be adjusted? I appreciate any input. Any auto body mechs out there? Thanks.
Jehovah's Witness's Is this true? According to Jehovah's Witness' theology, God is a single person, not a Trinity, who does not know all things and is not everywhere. He first created Michael the Archangel through whom He created all "other things," including the universe, the earth, Adam and Eve, etc. This creative work took God 42,000 years. At one point, The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society taught that God ruled the universe from somewhere in the Pleiades star system. They have since modified this to say that the "Pleiades can no longer be considered the center of the universe and it would be unwise for us to try to fix God's throne as being at a particular spot in the universe."1 Such changes and even contradictions in teaching are frequent in the Watchtower organization and when a doctrine changes, they tell their followers that the light of truth is getting brighter. After Adam sinned, the paradise which God had created for them, was ruined. So, God instituted a system of redemption which was revealed in the Bible and would ultimately lead to the crucifixion of Jesus the messiah. But, in the meantime, God needed to have a visible, theocratic organization on earth to accurately represent Him. Throughout history, this true organization had a remnant of faithful Jehovah's Witnesses (Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, etc.) but it wasn't until the late 1800's that Charles Taze Russell formerly began what is now known as the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society which is run out of Brooklyn, New York. This organization claims to be the only true channel of God's truth on earth today and that it alone can properly interpret God's word since it is the angel directed, prophet of God on earth. When it came time for the savior to be born, Michael the Archangel became a human, in the form of Jesus. Jesus grew and kept all the laws of God and never sinned. Finally, when Jesus died, it was not on a cross, but on a torture stake, where he bore the sins of mankind -- but this did not include Adam's sins. Jesus rose from the dead as a spirit, not physically (his body was dissolved and taken by God) and during his visitations to people on earth, he manifested a temporary physical body for them to see and touch. Thus began the true Christian church of Jehovah's followers. Throughout history there have been faithful Jehovah's witnesses who have managed to keep The Truth in spite of the "demonic" doctrine of Trinitarianism that has permeated the Christian church in "Christendom." Christendom is filled with pastors who are antichrists, in churches run by Satan, and who support the earthly governments which are all of the devil. In other words, all of Christianity is false and only the Jehovah's Witness "theocratic" organization lead by several men in Brooklyn, New York, is true. In the late 1800's, a young man of 18 years, by the name of Charles Taze Russell, organized a Bible class in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1879 he sought to popularize his ideas on doctrine so he co-published The Herald of the Morning magazine with its founder, N. H. Barbour and by 1884 Russell controlled the publication and renamed it The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom, and founded Zion's Watch Tower Tract Society (now known as the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society). Russell served as the teacher and guide for the organization which taught that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914 and is now reigning in heaven. When Jesus finally returns physical to earth, which will happen at the time of the Battle of Armageddon, He will set up his earthly 1000 year kingdom. During this 1000 year period, people will be resurrected and have a second chance to receive eternal salvation by following the principles of Jehovah's Organization on earth known as the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. After the millennium, those who reject God and His organization will be annihilated; that is, they will cease to exist. The rest of the Jehovah's Witness who have faithfully followed God's organization on earth will be saved from eternal annihilation and reside forever on Paradise earth. Heaven, however, is a place for a special group of 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses -- the only ones who are "born again" and who alone are allowed to take communion in their annual communion service. These are the ones who have "immortal life," all other Witnesses have "everlasting life." Those with immortal life do not have resurrected bodies. They have "spirit bodies." Those on Paradise Earth have everlasting life and consists of a resurrected body that must be maintained through eating, rest, etc. If you ever leave the Jehovah's Witness organization, you are considered an apostate and are to be shunned.
What do you think of Dr. Swetman And The Red Ink Pen poem? Subtitle: Heaven Loves You More Than .............You Will Know..... ------------------------------------------------ At 17, I walked in your office. Talked. A poem in hand. Better than Shakespeare! You, gravelly, kindly said,"Give it here." Didn't need glasses, way back then. No fright, when you took that 'red ink' pen, And 'hmmmmmed' as you red-lined out Every line. "I like your title, though." Doubt. "Write a poem about that. You know, revise." At 17, out I walked, cursing skies! My pride...nearest bar, beer. Didn't speak To you for six weeks! When the time was bleak, January cold, I did revise. Wrote a new poem, Out of pure spite! In...I...stalked, poem In hand. "Whatcha got there...this time?" Poker-faced, said,"Oh, nuthin. I can't write." I sat, you stood. Bounced, grinned! Cheshire Cat! "Oh, this is..." out your door! "Dr. Quertermous! Dr. LeCompte!" Great! A PANEL of red pens!!! "You're in! Sign this! We're gonna win!" I learned from you, long, long ago. 42 years... Of revision, 'go with the flow', never write about Things you don't know... And that Dylan Thomas changed the word 'Blue' 26 times... And came back to 'blue'. Your red ink pen is legendary. Thank you, Dr. Swetman...we laugh About it, now... This is a true story! And, he still uses that double-damned...as I call it...red ink pen!

I haven't finnished this yet but do you think its over a thousand words? How many words do you think this holds. Is there a short cut to counting the amount of words? I know this has a lot of errors in it but I'm still working on this. I don't want any of yous to read it. just to tell me how many words you think are in it please My Autobiography Introduction In my life I have had ups and I have had downs, but the one important thing to remember is that it doesn’t matter if you don’t succeed at first attempt because you can always try again until you get it right. I was messing about with some domino's at the time. I remember being a shepherd in my nativity play even though I was going to be an angel but for some strange reason got turned into a shepherd, I liked being a shepherd though, so I didn’t really care that I’d got turned into one. I remember that I missed my field trip because we went on holiday a week before school ended but I was to young and naive to realize that the holiday I went on A trip of a life time I was only seven at the time and I was excited to be going to Disney land. Looking back on it now Primary four was fun just not as fun as the others Primary six I was glad to be going into primary six. After that the party came to a close with an other game of rounders St Michaels- first and second year St Michaels first and second year is a bit hard to explain and to be honest its not something I talk about often, in fact school is something I don't talk about. I remember the first week was really good, I had made friends with a girl called Jenifer and a boy called Ian.All my teachers were nice and I enjoyed not being stuck in one class all the time. The only thing wrong with it was that I hardly went due to surcumstancies, that I don't feel like talking about.Looking back on it it all seems like a stupid dream that I was watching from above. Mind you I will be honest, that I had a lot fun and always take alot of funny memories with me from st Micks as I would call it. Moving I remember being upset at the Ideal of moving. It just seemed stupid to me and I thought about how our house held so many memories. I was scared to leave them and start fresh.I thought that if we left the house then I would somehow leave a part of me behind. Stupid I know but thats the way I felt. I would make up every excuse in the book as to why we shouldn't leave but northing worked, the more excuses I made the stupider they got. I even offered to get a job and use the wages that I earned to help pay the bills. My mum laughed when I said that and said if only they were all like you.Unfortunately I had to face the fact that no matter what I or anyone else for that matter said it wouldn't change my mum and dad's minds. It took forever for us to move. It seemed like it was the house that only we loved and whilst I was glad that I had got what I have wished for. I also got annoyed at the fact that no one wanted it.I didn't understand why no one wanted the house that I was so glad I had grew up in and would do anything in the world to keep living in but of course I was too stupid and naive to see that our house had faults that were costly. Eventually my mum and dad just got fed up and moved whilst still trying to sell the house that we had left behind. When I read this back I think I became obsessed with the house. New Life When we first moved to our new house I was still upset and still really stubborn over the whole thing. I still thought my mother and father were insane to leave "all of that" as I would of put it behind but now I realize that they had everybody's best interest in heart. It took me a while for the realization of the whole situation to sink in and after a few months of living in my new home I began to think to myself hey, this isn't so bad. It was beginning to feel like home and I felt a lot happier than I had in a long time. Castle Douglas high I didn't really know what to think the first time I seen castle Douglas high. My first thought was that I thought it looked odd for an high school, then the colour screamer of the building came into mind as brighter and more colourful than my other school was. My hopes and dreams conclusion Looking back on all of this I think "wow kid you got it so lucky"

Do you like my Story ? It all started when Ella, woke up in forest. It was the tenth time it had happened. Feeling ridiculously exasperated, Ella stroked a gerbil, thinking it would make her feel better (but as usual, it did not). Suddenly cheered up by the Spongebob SquarePants theme song, she realized that her beloved diary was missing! Immediately she called her friend Rebecca. Ella had known Rebecca for (plus or minus) 11,000 years, the majority of which were Cool ones. Rebecca was though sometimes a little... dimwitted. Ella called her anyway, for the situation was urgent. Rebecca picked up to a very mad Ella. She was only concerned with distracting Ella. Why was Rebecca trying to distract Ella? Because she had snuck out from Ella's with the diary only five days prior. It was a Nice little diary... how could she resist? It didn't take long before Ella got back to the subject at hand: her diary. Rebecca cringed. Relunctantly, Rebecca invited her over, assuring her they'd find the diary... After hanging up the phone, Rebecca realized that she was in trouble. She had to find a place to hide the diary and she had to do it soon. She figured that if Ella took the neighborhood rocket, she had take at least ten minutes before Ella would get there. But if she took the Car? Then Rebecca would be screwed. Before she could come up with any reasonable ideas, Rebecca was interrupted by six Dogs that were lured by her diary. Rebecca turned red; 'Not again', she thought. Randomly , She had a piece of meat which she threw and the dogs followed .She breathed with relief. That's when she heard the Car rolling up. It was Ella As she pulled up, she felt a sense of urgency. She had had to make an unscheduled stop at McDonald's to pick up a quarter pounder, so she knew she was running late. With a mighty leap, Ella was out of the Car and went towards Rebecca's front door. Meanwhile inside, Rebecca was panicking. Not thinking, she tossed the diary into a box of potatos and then slid the box behind her pet hippopotamus. Rebecca was exasperated but at least the diary was concealed. The doorbell rang... 'Come in,' Rebecca purred. With a careful push, Ella opened the door. 'Sorry for being late, but I was being chased by aliens,' she lied. 'It's fine,' Rebecca assured her. Ella took a seat close to where Rebecca had hidden the diary. Rebecca cringed trying unsuccessfully to hide her nervousness. 'umm, can I get you anything?' she blurted. But Ella was distracted. Giggling like schoolgirl, Rebecca noticed a look on Ella's face. Ella slowly opened her mouth to speak. '...What's that smell?' Rebecca felt a stabbing pain in her taint when Ella asked this. In a moment of disbelief, she realized that she had hidden the diary right by her fan. 'Wh-what? I don't smell anything..!' A lie. A stupid look started to form on Ella's face. She turned to notice a box that seemed clearly out of place. 'Th-th-those are just my grandma's live hand grenades from when she used to have pet disease-carrying chipmunks. She, uh...dropped 'em by here earlier'. Ella nodded with fake acknowledgement...then, before Rebecca could react, Ella randomly lunged toward the box and opened it. The diary was plainly in view. Ella stared at Rebecca for what what must've been nine microseconds. Like a drunken sailor at happy hour, Rebecca dived in Ella's direction, clearly desperate. Ella grabbed the diary and bolted for the door. It was locked. Rebecca let out a chuckle. 'If only you hadn't been so protective of that thing, none of this would have happened, Ella,' she said smugly . Rebecca always had been a little dimwitted, so Ella knew she needed to escape before Rebecca did something crazy, like... start chucking McDonalds at her or something. Giggling like schoolgirl, she gripped her diary tightly and made a dash toward the window, diving headlong through the glass panels. Rebecca looked on, blankly. 'What the ...? . 'The other door was open, you know.' Silence from Ella. 'And to think, I varnished that window frame five days ago...it never ends!' Suddenly she felt a tinge of concern for Ella. 'umm Are you ok?' Still silence. Rebecca walked over to the window and looked down. Ella was gone. Ella was struggling to make her way through the imaginery desert behind Rebecca's place. Ella had severely hurt her ankle during the window incident, and was starting to lose strength. Another pack of Dogs suddenly appeared, having seen the diary. One by one they latched on to Ella. Already weakened from her injury, Ella collapsed. The last thing she saw before losing consciousness was a buzzing pack of Dogs running off with her diary. But then God came down with His smart smile and restored Ella's diary. Feeling angered, God punished the Dogs for their sin. Then he got into his magic black Mercadies and went back to heaven . Ella ran with joy when she saw this. Her diary was safe. It was a good thing, too, because
